Who is Eligible to Apply?
Investors who had deposited money in any of the four Sahara cooperative societies can apply for a refund through the portal. These societies include Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Ltd., and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd. To apply, individuals must have their membership number, deposit receipt, and a valid Aadhaar card linked with a mobile number.

Once the registration is complete, users can check the progress of their refund application by logging in on the same website. After Aadhaar-based OTP login, they need to click on the ‘Check Status’ option and enter the required details. The portal will display the current status of the refund request.
Important Government Guidelines
The Supreme Court has approved this refund mechanism and issued new guidelines to ensure fairness and efficiency. Claims that are resubmitted due to errors or incomplete information will now be processed within 45 working days. The government has also provided helpline numbers—011-20909045 and 011-20909044—to assist applicants with their queries.

- To apply for your refund through the Sahara Refund Portal, first visit the official website at mocrefund.crcs.gov.in.
- Once you’re on the homepage, click on the “Depositor Registration” link to begin the process.
- Now enter all the required details like Aadhar Card Number, name and Sahara India Policy Number
- Now An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Now Enter the OTP and Click on Verify.
- After that you will need to fill in your investment details, such as your Receipt Number provided by Sahara at the time of deposit. Make sure these details are correct and match your documents.
